July 11th - July 14th, 2008 - More staging and paintingThis week when we arrived, we saw that the decks had been built and almost completed. Here's a picture of everyone enjoying the view from the West deck.

Saturday I watched the kids, and when I had the chance I hung some curtains in Lupine. 
And I staged the Lupine kitchen so I could get nice looking pictures for the rental website. 
And of course, don't forget, here's the view from the sink when washing dishes! It's one of my favorite subject matters. 
Over in Equinox, the gang was busy painting the walls. They finished the wall behind the built-ins, the hallway and the trim paint in the living room. 
Here's how the Equinox deck looks currently. It should be finished by next week. 
Next weekend, one of my close friends and college roommate will be coming for a visit. She and her husband and two kids (ages 5 and 8) will be camping their way from St. Louis to Maine. I'm so excited. We'll spend one day in the Portland area and then a couple days in Lupine. I think it's big enough and there are enough beds for us all to fit comfortably. And Jeremy, Dan and Jane will be able to finish painting a few of the rooms in Equinox. Posted by Laura
